A center dedicated to the exploration of art, music and culture, the Buddy Holly Center is primarily an art gallery and historical museum. Three distinct areas, the Fine Arts Gallery, Buddy Holly Gallery and Texas Musicians Hall of Fame, each hold pertinent exhibitions, ranging from artworks by regional visual artists to the life stories and memorabilia from Buddy Holly and other famous Texan musicians. The center sits a little over a mile southeast of the Buddy Holly Plaza, which features a statue of the famous performer.
