Housing an impressive collection of documents, memorabilia, and oral histories of those involved in the Vietnam War, the Vietnam Archives preserve the memory of the 20th century conflict and its aftermath. Thousands of books, photographs, stories and reports are stored at the center, which encourages the dissemination of archive information about the era. The archives and exhibits are located in a state-of-the-art facility of the campus of Texas Tech University, near the National Ranching Heritage Center and the Museum of Texas Tech University.
