If you are looking for a decent place with great catfish then river smith is not the place. I recently went there starving after wanting to go there for a long time but I still didn't like the food that much. We ordered 2 whole catfish, and 3 combo with butterfly shrimp, white fish, whole chicken with drinks for $ 26. Both the fish were undercooked and the chicken was worse than Church's chicken. Next time I want catfish and chicken, I'll just go to Golden Corral. And River smith is not a full service restaurant either.

Two whole catfish, seasoned just right, deep fried, and make to order! I will surely order again and again. My kids ordered the catfish nuggets and the were just as tastee. There were several sides to choose from, different ways to have your fish and chicken prepared, chicken fry,etc and a small salad bar. A casual atmosphere with a big screen t.v. in the back, and a pretty good size fish tank in the wall ( a conversation piece while you wait). You order when you first get there and the staff checks on you from time to time. Can't wait to get back!
